Sindh reports more Corona Cases, Tally Hits 76


Sindh government's spokesman Murtaza Wahab has confirmed more cases of coronavirus in Sindh, the number of patients has increased to 76. 
In his Twitter message, he said that "So far 50 people who had arrived in Sukkur from Taftaan have tested positive for coronavirus – 25 at Karachi and one at Hyderabad. 

So the total patients have reached 76 in Sindh. 
Out of these 76 patients, two have recovered and the remaining 74 are being kept in isolation.
It is to be noted that, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Pakistan has risen to 94 after Sindh reported more cases on Monday, bringing the total to 76 in the province.
On the other hand, Sindh government has imported 10,000 kits for testing coronavirus.
Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah informed through his tweet on social media that the provincial government, in collaboration with a private hospital, has imported 10,000 kits for testing coronavirus.
Karachiites violating the ban on public gatherings under corona emergency in the province, citizens arrive at parks and seaviews for a walk early in the morning while last night, police closed restaurants in different areas due to the rush.
While Karachi Police Chief Ghulam Nabi Memon has decided to cancel the leaves of police officers whereas he has decided to deploy police outside major departmental stores, strictly implementing the ban on wedding halls, celebrations and temporary markets in view of coronavirus outbreak. 
Karachi police holidays have been canceled and Additional IG has ordered police officers and personnel to conduct corona tests. 
Police officers are instructed to use masks, gloves and other protective equipment while banning wedding halls and temporary markets should be ensured.

Cop martyred in Karachi gun attack

KARACHI: 20,JULY,2019:A police sub-inspector (SI) was martyred when unidentified assailants opened fire near Site Super Highway in  Karachi  on Saturday. According to SSP Malir, the SI Ghulam Qadir lost his life when unknown attackers opened fire near Wazir Goth in Karach Super Highway. The martyred SI Ghulam was on the way to the police station from his home when he was attacked, SSP Malir said. The body was taken to the hospital while the police rushed to the scene and commenced the investigation after gathering the shreds of evidence. Coronavirus fears: PIA extends closure of flight operations to China

Pakistan International Airline (PIA) on Thursday has extended the suspension of the flight operations to China until March 31 amid corona virus fears. The PIA announced suspension of flights to China from February 24 to March 15, and it was said that it would decide to extend the flight closure or not in March.  It is now reported that the national airline has increased its flights closure from March 16 to March 31. PIA spokesman said a decision on whether to extend or lift the ban will be made at the end of March. It is to be noted that, the corona virus that erupted from China last December has claimed 3,285 lives and infected over 95,000 worldwide. The said virus has been confirmed in five people in Pakistan, however, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Health Dr Zafar Mirza said that the condition of all coronavirus patients is out of danger and they all are in good health.
